A stable government is needed after GE15

KOTA BHARU: A strong and stable government is needed by Malaysia after the 15th General Election (GE15) in driving the economic recovery to a better direction in the future.

Political veteran, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah or Ku Li said that stability is needed to give confidence to foreign investors in an effort to stimulate the country’s economic recovery.

“When the government is stable, investors will indirectly be confident and that has been proven before.

“We can see that the government is stable and strong and managed to govern the country well in various aspects,” he said after being met by reporters while voting at the Kampung Sireh National School (SK) here today.

Ku Li said, he wants the government that is formed to try to save the ringgit and put the country’s currency in the best position.

He said, this is to prevent inflation from continuing to shackle the people thus putting pressure on their lives.

Earlier, Ku Li arrived at SK Kampung Sireh at 11.09am to cast his vote.

In GE15, Ku Li is still contesting to defend the Gua Musang parliamentary seat that he has held for the past 10 terms. – MESSENGER
