Aminuddin managed to defend the Port Dickson seat

PORT DICKSON: Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun who represents Pakatan Harapan (PH) successfully defended the Port Dickson parliamentary seat previously held by the party.

Aminuddin obtained 42,013 votes with a large majority of 23,601 votes defeating Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Rafiei Mustapha with 18,235 votes and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Datuk P. Kalamananthan with 18,412 votes.

While the Pejuang candidate, Dr. Ahmad Idham Ahmad Nadzri 1,084 votes and independent candidate, Abdul Rani Kulup Abdullah 441 votes.

The voting percentage was 77.5 percent and 1,089 ballot papers were rejected.

The announcement was made by the Port Dickson Election Manager, Khairy Maamor at 2.50 this morning at the Official Vote Tallying Center of the Port Dickson Parliament for the 15th General Election (GE15) at the Port Dickson District Administration Complex.-UTUSAN.
