BN can make Malaysia greater

JOHOR BAHRU: Barisan Nasional (BN) is determined to make Malaysia a greater and extraordinary country than before if given a mandate by the people to return to govern the country after the 15th General Election (GE15).

UMNO Vice President, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said, BN’s defeat in 2018 was not the end but rather a catharsis needed for the coalition to improve itself.

According to him, the defeat was a great blow to BN which showed that the real power is in the hands of the people.

“BN is requesting to be given a mandate to make up for all past mistakes, complete the stranded work and map out more radical progress for this country.

“We have a neat, comprehensive and extraordinary plan for Malaysia. In the next five years, we will work towards an inclusive and competitive economy, strengthen the middle class and eradicate absolute poverty.

“Infrastructure will be developed in parallel with technological progress. Government governance will be based on a digital system to be modern, transparent and trustworthy. We will uncover and develop all the talents and potential of Malaysian princes,” he said in a statement, here today.

The former Johor Menteri Besar added that BN is also committed to ensuring that unity and harmony between races in this country will be strengthened again.

“Pakatan Harapan (PH) which replaced us as the government only lasted 22 months. They are neither better, nor more effective nor more authoritative.

“PH fell because of the bad attitude of its own leader who betrayed the party and the voter’s mandate. Malaysia is then on the brink of political instability with three Prime Ministers in four years,” he said.

Therefore, he called on Malaysians to go out and vote in large numbers by choosing stability and prosperity, and not to repeat the dark episodes of the country in the past five years.

“We must make the right choice to return Malaysia to an orderly, reliable and clear government.

“Malaysia must be restored to become a superior economic power, poverty eradicated, urban and rural disparities narrowed, millions of jobs created, pluralism realized, the environment preserved and education revolutionized.

“Come together we will vote for BN,” he insisted. – MESSENGER
