KLANG: The high sea level in the sea in the last six days may lead to the risk of flooding in Klang.
The Klang District Flood Disaster Management Committee (JPBD) informed that this happened due to the phenomenon of high tide that occurred from yesterday until November 27.
In the diagram released by the office, the reading of the sea level yesterday was 5.1 meters (m) and 5.2 m yesterday.
“It is expected that the sea level reading tomorrow and Friday will record the highest level of 5.3 m,” informed the committee on the official Facebook page of the District and Land Office (PDT) Klang, today.
Accordingly, the committee in question reminded the people of Klang to always be aware of the changes in the weather in the district.
In the event of a flood, the committee asks the public to call the emergency line to report the occurrence of a disaster in their area.
“Always get the latest information on weather conditions and further instructions from the responsible government agency,” said JPBD Klang.-UTUSAN
